Our family watch a fair amount of TV... well, it's a good way to entertain the family for little money, right? We have also recently canceled our 10yr old Sky contract. We did this for two principal reasons:
1. Save money;
2. We found we were only watching a couple of channels on Sky occasionally, so it wasn't getting as much use as we might have thought it was.
This made me think that a thread on what TV content can be got for free/less than a Sky monthly subscription might be useful.
Rather than do all of this in one giant thread, I'll add notes on our findings and our setup at home over time.
Of course, everyone else is welcome to chip in here as well - tell us what you do/have done/want to do and let the debate commence!
